Position Overview:

We're looking for a strategic and detail-oriented SEO & Content Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of content marketing and organic growth, with a passion for optimizing digital experiences that attract, engage, and convert. You'll be responsible for shaping our SEO strategy, managing content creation, and ensuring our web presence is both discoverable and impactful. If you love creating and refining content for maximum visibility, digging into data, and collaborating with a hands-on team, this role is for you. You'll work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and web teams to drive measurable results and report to the Director of Demand Generation.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to improve organic visibility and rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and technical SEO audits.
  • Optimize on-page and off-page SEO elements, including metadata, internal linking, and structured data.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance, leveraging tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs.
  • Collaborate with web designers to improve site speed, mobile-friendliness, and technical SEO.

Content Marketing & Optimization

  • Develop and oversee a content calendar aligned with SEO goals and audience needs.
  • Write, edit, and optimize high-quality, search-friendly content (landing pages, blog posts, guides, etc.).
  • Implement content refresh strategies to keep existing content relevant and ranking.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with paid media, social media, and email teams to ensure content aligns with overall marketing goals.
  • Work with web designers to implement technical SEO fixes and site enhancements.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to create content that drives conversions.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track, measure, and report on SEO and content performance with data-driven insights.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to refine strategies.

Tactical Responsibilities

  • Develop SEO-friendly content based on keyword intent and SERP analysis.
  • Edit and optimize existing blog posts, landing pages, and website copy to improve rankings.
  • Execute content refresh strategies, ensuring older content stays relevant and competitive.
  • Optimize on-page SEO elements (meta titles, descriptions, H1s, alt text, URL structure).
  • Track organic traffic, rankings, and engagement using Google Analytics, GA4, and SEO tools.
  • Assisting Demand Gen, Product Marketing and prospect/customer marketing stakeholders with content review as they relate to future and existing campaigns 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing
  • Experience working in the B2B SaaS industry strongly preferred
  • Experience, knowledge, or demonstrated interest in the nonprofit sector preferred
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices, Google ranking factors, and content strategy
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush/Ahrefs
  • Proficient in Webflow or similar CMS platforms
  • Basic understanding of HubSpot and marketing automation
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to content optimization
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an SEO-first mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Information:

  • Compensation: $95,000-120,000 base salary
