We’re seeking a high-output, strategic SEO & AI Search Content Writer to accelerate Allego’s digital presence and fuel inbound pipeline across both traditional and emerging search platforms. Reporting to the Director of Web Strategy and Development, this role is responsible for producing a steady volume of high-quality, search-optimized content — from blog posts and guides to landing pages and thought leadership pieces. You'll blend strong writing skills with deep SEO expertise to create content that resonates with enablement professionals and performs across Google, ChatGPT, and next-gen AI-driven search engines.

Location: Boston (Hybrid/Remote flex)

Reports To: Director of Web Strategy and Development

Salary: $81,900- $98,300

What You’ll Do
  • Create high-quality, persona-driven content that balances readability for human audiences with optimization for search engines (SEO, GEO, AEO).
  • Develop blog posts, thought leadership articles, guides, and web pages that position Allego as a leader in the sales enablement space.
  • Perform keyword research and gap analysis using tools like Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
  • Optimize content for Google, ChatGPT, and other AI-driven search engines, keeping pace with evolving algorithms and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, demand gen, and design teams to ensure content aligns with campaigns and buyer journeys.
  • Track, analyze, and report on content performance, making data-driven recommendations for continual improvement

Requirements

About You
  • 3–5 years of experience in content writing, SEO, or digital marketing, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Proven ability to increase search visibility and drive qualified inbound leads through content
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills — capable of turning complex topics into clear, engaging, and actionable content
  • Solid experience with keyword research, content optimization, and performance analysis
  • Familiarity with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) best practices, and a strong interest in the future of AI-driven search
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and web teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Passionate about content, storytelling, and elevating brand authority through thought leadership
Bonus Points
  • Experience with enterprise SEO tools such as SEOClarity, Moz, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
  • Working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and AI-driven platforms like ChatGPT for content discovery
