Your Role
This role sits within emnify's marketing team, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. You will own three interconnected pillars — SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), and our HubSpot website — and be accountable for tying all three to pipeline. Day-to-day, you'll work most closely with the Demand Generation Manager and Content Manager, with strong cross-functional ties to Product Marketing, Legal, and our Network team. You'll also serve as the primary point of contact for our SEO/GEO agency.

emnify already has meaningful momentum in AI search: for several high-value IoT phrases, we show up in the first positions across LLMs, and a significant share of our converting inbound traffic is coming directly from tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. This isn't a "let's explore AI search one day" situation — the opportunity is live, the signals are strong, and we need someone to build on them deliberately. With a category leadership position to defend and expand across six languages and three priority markets — Europe, North America, and Brazil — the scope here is genuinely broad and the visibility of your work will be immediate.
Your First 6 Months
- In your first few weeks, you'll get under the hood of our current SEO and GEO performance - - auditing what's working, what's been neglected, and where the quick wins are, while building your working relationships with the agency and internal teams
- By month two or three, you'll have a clear organic roadmap in place, aligned with Demand Generation and Content, and be running the first round of CRO experiments on key conversion pages
- By the halfway mark, you'll own a live performance dashboard, be reporting organic pipeline contribution to the VP of Marketing, and have begun the multilingual website work for our North America and Brazil markets — with SEO and GEO operating as one connected programme
Your Impact
Modern SEO
- Own the SEO roadmap end-to-end — strategy, prioritisation, and execution across technical, on-page, and off-page — driving qualified organic traffic that converts, not just ranks
- Lead technical SEO across a complex, multilingual environment: Core Web Vitals, schema markup, hreflang, and crawl health across EN, DE, ES, FR, IT, and PT-BR
Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) / AI Search
- Build emnify's presence in AI-generated answers — structuring content, entity signals, and citations so we show up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini for the searches that matter
- Develop and own our GEO measurement framework — tracking brand mentions and product citations across generative outputs and iterating based on what moves the needle
Website Management (HubSpot)
- Own the HubSpot website end-to-end — building and optimising pages, running CRO experiments at key conversion touchpoints, and maintaining a clean, well-governed CMS
- Partner with Demand Generation, Design, and Product to ship website improvements that support pipeline, not just traffic
Agency Management
- Serve as the day-to-day lead for our SEO/GEO agency — setting clear briefs, holding deliverables to a high standard, and ensuring output stays aligned with emnify's strategy and quality bar
Demand Generation Impact
- Connect organic performance directly to pipeline — owning targets for traffic, MQL-to-SQL conversion, and organic revenue contribution, and reporting those results to marketing leadership
What We Expect
- A strong, hands-on track record in SEO within a B2B tech or SaaS environment — with demonstrable results across technical, on-page, and off-page disciplines
- Fluency in HubSpot Content Hub — you can build, edit, and manage pages independently, without developer support. This is non-negotiable
- A genuine, practical understanding of GEO and AI Search — you can speak to entity SEO, E-E-A-T, and structured citations, and you have a view on how these differ from traditional SEO
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, and at least one of SEMrush or Ahrefs, with the ability to build reporting that connects organic performance to business outcomes
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable working with content, design, legal, and external agencies simultaneously
- Coachability — we want someone who is excited to grow with us in a fast-evolving discipline
Why It Might Not Be a Match
- You prefer a clearly scoped remit. This role spans SEO, GEO, full-stack website management, agency oversight, and pipeline accountability — the breadth is real, and so is the ownership that comes with it
- You're more comfortable optimising a mature, well-documented programme than rebuilding and redefining one. Some areas of the website and organic strategy need honest reassessment before they can be scaled
- GEO is entirely new territory for you and that makes you hesitant rather than curious. We're already seeing results from AI search, and we need someone who wants to figure out the next chapter of that story — not someone who needs the playbook handed to them first
Skills Required
- Hands-on track record in SEO within a B2B tech or SaaS environment with demonstrable results across technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
- Fluency in HubSpot Content Hub with ability to build, edit, and manage pages independently (no developer support)
- Practical understanding of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI Search, including entity SEO, E-E-A-T, structured citations, and how these differ from traditional SEO
- Proficiency with GA4 and Google Search Console
- Experience with at least one SEO tool: SEMrush or Ahrefs
- Technical SEO expertise across multilingual environments (Core Web Vitals, schema markup, hreflang, crawl health) across EN, DE, ES, FR, IT, PT-BR
- Experience running CRO experiments and optimising conversion touchpoints
- Ability to build reporting that connects organic performance to business outcomes (traffic, MQL-to-SQL conversion, organic revenue)
