Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Test Engineering Manager 2 to join the Sentinel System Test Team for the Mission Integration Facility! This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.

What You’ll Get To Do:
This position is responsible for the design, integration, and build of system test labs, and includes the management of engineering release, systems engineering, and cost and schedule. The position requires technical knowledge of test environments with a focus in laboratory integration and test. The selected candidate must act with speed, be able direct concurrent operations while maintaining test rigor and demonstrating good configuration management of test assets. Candidate must also be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions. A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience is highly desired.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with support functions and ensure adequate staffing for all test activities within the SILs
- Managing crew schedules
- Driving process rigor, ensure compliance to meet company, program, and security requirements
- Communicate issues and provide solutions across IPTs and other shared users of the MIF test lines
- Continually seek to improve process inefficiencies

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 8 years of related work experience: or Masters and 6 years of related experience.
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with EVMS cost accounts
- Previous experience working in Integration and Test Environments
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience leading engineering teams
- Experience with lab design and build
- Experience conducting test on an EMD program
- Experience directing integrating with customers
- Experience in System Integration Lab integration and hardware/software integration at the system level
- Prior experience with Instrumentation, data acquisition and test automation systems

Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
