Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (T-03) / Sr Principal Systems Engineer (T-04) for the Sentinel Aerospace vehicle team. This position is located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program on the AVE (Missile) Architecture and Interfaces team.

What You'll Get to Do:
- Work with higher and lower-level teams to develop and mature the AVE architecture content
- Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and make sure that that they are properly represented in the model\
- Work with teammates across a wide variety of disciplines and get intimately familiar with all aspects of the Missile
- Develop missile flight systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)
- Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts
- Contribute to system requirements development and analysis
- Present at milestone internal and customer reviews leading up to CDR
- Process content through engineering review boards
- Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)
Basic Qualifications:
This requisition may be filled at either the Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03) or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer level (T-04).
Principal Systems Engineer:- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree, 1 year with a PhD
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD
Required for both levels:
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Regardless of degree level, 3 years of Systems Engineering experience required
- At least 2 years experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture or MagicDraw (No Magic, Inc.) or other architecture modeling tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable spending substantial portion of time using software tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Systems engineering experience
- Significant Cameo Experience with regards to modeling and governance
- Experience with DoDAF and UPDM or UAF Profiles
- Experience using DOORS (IBM Rational)
- Experience with complex system development on large programs
- Experience with flight hardware
- Active SAP Clearance

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
