Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a GN&C Analysis & Algorithms Manager 2. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do
This manager lead engineer and will play an active in role of developing physics-based models, 6-DOF simulations, flight and ground system algorithms, determining control stability, ground testing leading to flight test analysis, and ensuring program requirements are met. The individual must be capable of leading a team in a highly dynamic environment, establishing strong working relationships with elements across the program (e.g. NIMS, Guidance Computer, Software, Integration & Test), and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The manager will assume functional management responsibilities which includes employee career development and being the enabling function for employee’s success. The manager will also support the cost account manager and help ensure program deliverables and deadlines are being met.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Job Qualifications
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 6 years of related experience or a Masters Degree in STEM with 4 years of related experience
-
Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years
-
Must be eligible to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
-
1+ years’ experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
-
Familiarity with aircraft or space guidance, navigation and control systems
-
5+ years’ of experience in object oriented programming
-
5+ years’ of experience using MATLAB/Simulink
-
5+ years’ of configuration management experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
-
Experience managing requirements databases using IBM DOORS including the use of custom DXL scripts
-
Experience as a database administrator including database schema creation, user permission schema definition, and database configuration
-
Experience on programs using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies
-
Experience with Cameo and Teamwork Cloud

Technical experience on large DoD Acquisition programs

Salary Range: $119,300.00 - $178,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
