Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Common Product Lifecycle Management (CLPM) SME. This position supports the Sentinel program. This position is not eligible for remote work.
What You Will Get To Do:
- Act as a subject matter expert in Common Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter) and NX to resolve user issues
- Triage and prioritize impact of user issues
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve user issues when possible
- Must have excellent communication and written skills while troubleshooting user issues
- Elevate user issues when needed
- Follow user support workflow
- Learn program and division Principle & Operating Practices to identify correct PLM usage
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently, retain instruction, and execute tasks with minimal follow-up
- Work closely with program user community
- Act as a liaison across multiple engineering disciplines across the program
- Identify potential gap in processes
- Identify repeat and common user issues for training opportunities
- Perform tool testing.
- Assist with creating and maintaining product documentation in the form of job aids.
- Bring a strong ability to comprehend, implement and adhere to documented processes with an inherent ability to make sound decisions.
- Professionally represent the Strategic Deterrent Systems and Sentinel organizations while interacting with internal and external contacts including suppliers, senior personnel and executive leadership on matters requiring coordination between organizations and sectors.
This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This position may be filled as an Engineer (level 2) or a Principal Engineer (level 3) depending on years of experience and qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM discipline
- Minimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experience
- Minimum of 1 year (level 2) or 3 years (level 3) of experience with Siemens NX.
- Active Secret clearance at time of application, current and within scope
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

- The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program stakeholder needs.
- The ability to identify and address program impacts through systematic and proactive approaches to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors and promptly resolves conflicts.
- Competence and confidence working under pressure on requests with short turn-around times
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
- Experience with a ticketing workflow systems (Service Now)
- Experience with Siemens Capital & Xpedition
- Familiarity with Siemens NX or other CAD software
- Familiarity with computer-aided engineering analysis tools
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter (or other product lifecycle management software)
- Experience with configuration management
- Knowledge of System Engineering principles and requirements management
- Experience in defense system/subsystem product design
Primary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
