Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Associate Software Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel Program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Responsible for development and maintenance of software system artifacts supporting requirements, design, and architecture of software products.
This will include the following activities:
Design and define software system architecture for new or existing software products
Requirements creation and tracing to software
Model-based System Engineering (MBSE) and associated tools (e.g., DOORS or Cameo)
Work in an agile development environment
Work with a team of software developers, other Software System Engineers and SME’s (subject matter experts)

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
0 years of experience with Bachelors or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (< 6 yrs), with an ability to maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Command and Launch systems and mission objectives
Model Builder - Fundamental certification
Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence tools
Experience working in a cross-functional Scrum team
Experience creating requirements Peer Review packages that include all artifacts required for the review

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
