About this role - Please note this a hybrid position based in London and the role may require you to work occasional evenings and weekends

We are seeking a Senior YouTube Channel Manager to lead the editorial, creative, and strategic development of The Mirror channel. 

This role is responsible for growing audience reach, engagement, and revenue on YouTube while driving innovation. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with editorial, Studio and analytics teams. 

The ideal candidate is a deeply platform-native thinker with strong editorial instincts, proven leadership capabilities, and a passion for video editing . You'll manage other Channel Managers within the business and will be one of the  lead YouTube specialists. 

What you’ll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a proven track record of owning large, professional YouTube channels and delivering measurable growth. 

You’re fluent in YouTube Studio and Analytics, a confident video editor. comfortable running A/B tests, and adept at turning data into clear insights stakeholders can act on. 

Organisation is second nature: you manage content calendars and production workflows, allocate resources smartly. Calm and decisive under pressure, you can pivot for breaking news and fast turnarounds while maintaining quality.
