As a Senior Writer and Editor in the Product and Content Marketing team, you will work closely with the business, subject matter experts, and marketing colleagues to develop content in a variety of formats and levels of sophistication-from basic educational materials to in-depth articles. You will create impactful messaging across markets, thought leadership, investment strategies, and product solutions, engaging audiences that include institutions, intermediaries, financial advisors, and end investors throughout APAC.
You will leverage your investment writing and editorial expertise, as well as the insights of subject matter experts, to ensure every piece of content is on-brand, relevant, differentiated, thought-provoking, and actionable. You will take initiative to provide solutions that meet compliance requirements and align with firm priorities. You bring a solid understanding of the industry, products, and client needs, and use objective analysis and logical evaluation to craft effective and engaging messaging. Your exceptional writing and content marketing skills, combined with a strong desire to continuously evolve and elevate content, will help promote visibility and drive positive business impact.
Job responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic content marketing initiatives for Singapore, Southeast Asia, and other APAC markets, covering brand copy, investment commentaries, and product collateral.
  • Lead the promotion of product diversification and showcase comprehensive investment and active management capabilities to meet the evolving needs of Singapore & Southeast Asia
  • Consider market and industry trends, challenges, and opportunities to strengthen our brand, promote insights and capabilities, acquire new clients, support customer growth and retention, and enhance client experience and engagement.
  • Be a crucial member in driving APAC content and product strategy through content visibility, client engagement and business impact, providing support to various markets as and when needed.
  • Deliver the firm's intellectual capitals covering markets, thought leadership, investment strategies and product solutions across a variety of offline and online communications channels.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by actively analyzing and drawing insights from the product and content marketing strategies of peers and competitors, seek ongoing enhancement in content quality and delivery enabled by digital and data to elevate our own work to best-in-class standards
  • Comply with all internal and external requirements to ensure the business remains aligned with changing regulations and evolving guidelines
  • Pilot new ideas to create a positive impact and drive innovative marketing
  • Optimising product content formats and messaging across client segments and channels (Funds, Active ETFs, Private Wealth etc.), including mobile and social platforms, paid media, search engines and generative AI
  • Contribute to strategic marketing priorities to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness through leveraging resources and streamlining processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, journalism or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in investment or financial writing.
  • Solid understanding of financial, economic and investment concepts, the asset management industry, products, and client behavior.
  • Superior writing and editorial skills in English.
  • Proven ability to turn complex financial subject matter into compelling stories for diverse audience.
  • Strong interviewing skills and demonstrated ability to synthesize various viewpoints into thoughtful marketing and educational pieces.
  • Displays reporter-like tenacity to secure meetings with senior-level subject matter experts and generate high-quality content under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills, with experience coordinating editorial projects with multiple departments.
  • Process-driven and attentive to detail, with proven experience managing content production processes.
  • Digital and social media savvy; solid experience with data-driven approaches to drive content engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to support client materials for clients based in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts across teams and markets.
  • Passionate about creating client-engaging content and keen on evaluating content impact for continuous enhancement.
  • Highly flexible, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and able to adapt quickly while managing multiple priorities.
  • High level of independence, positive energy, and respect for diverse opinions and styles.
  • Experience piloting innovative marketing strategies and optimizing content formats.
