Responsibilities:
Workday System Administration & Configuration
- Administer, configure, and optimize Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Security, and Reporting.
- Design, test, and implement changes to Workday business processes, workflows, and security profiles to meet evolving business needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.
Integrations & Technical Solutions
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of Workday integrations using Workday Studio, APIs, EIB inbound/outbound, PICOF/PECI, and boomerang integrations.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve integration and system issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- Partner with IT and external vendors to support seamless integration between Workday and other business systems (payroll, benefits, time/attendance, etc.).
Reporting, Analytics & Data Governance
- Develop advanced Workday reports, including composite, matrix, dashboards, and calculated fields, to deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with HR, data privacy, and labor regulations.
- Support HRIS data audits, clean-up, and adherence to data governance standards.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement
- Lead HRIS-related projects including upgrades, enhancements, and new feature implementations.
- Partner with HR leaders and stakeholders to evaluate system functionality, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement best practices.
- Write and execute test scripts and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality deliverables.
End-User Support & Training
- Provide training, guidance, and support to HR staff and end-users to promote technology adoption and self-service.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for Workday-related questions and requests.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of HRIS experience with at least 3+ years in Workday across multiple functional areas.
- Strong expertise configuring business processes, workflows, and security roles in Workday.
- Advanced reporting skills using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and dashboards; strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and data governance best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver projects on time, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Workday HCM certification(s).
- Experience with Workday security design, role-based permissions, and custom security domains.
- Familiarity with XML, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, or XPATH.
- Exposure to Java, micro-services, and message queues.
- Experience supporting both domestic and international Workday tenants.
- Consulting or large-scale implementation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (Workday Studio, APIs, EIBs, PECI, PICOF) and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
