The Workday Configuration Product Technologist is an important role to everyone at Citi. The potential impact and influence of this position are felt companywide.
Responsibilities:
- Support all Workday projects, partner with IT organization and ensure process adherence.
- Partner with IT Integrations, HR Technology, HR Shared Services, Recruiting, PMO, Analytics, Finance & other key stakeholder groups as needed for operational support, governance, data analysis and projects
- Develop deep understanding of complex enterprise-wide data and interdependencies, including those with reporting and downstream integrations
- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects and foster communication between business leaders and IT
- Consult with users and clients to solve complex system issues/problems through in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards and recommends solutions
- Support system change processes from requirements through implementation and provide input based on analysis of information
- Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in similar roles.
- 3 plus years working in a large complex global technology environment, ideally finance services.
- Experience with Workday taxonomies: Performance and Compensation.
- A demonstrated history around Yearly Performance and Compensation Life Cycle and HR data, global employee data privacy
- Deep understanding of Workday functionality for a specific area of responsibility: Performance and Compensation
- Understanding the configuration of calculated fields, condition rules, business processes and eligibility rules
- Understanding of integrations although primarily handled by IT team.
- Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
- Experience in managing Workday Feature Releases
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Fluent English
