Ready to stop being the backup and start being the expert?
You've spent the last few years learning a WMS inside and out: configuring it, troubleshooting it, and ready to step up to become the authoritative role for the key system of a warehouse operation. We're looking for a rising WMS talent ready to step into full ownership of the systems that run our warehouses. You won't be a small cog in a big machine. You'll be the WMS authority at a growing multi-site 3PL, with the autonomy to prove what you can do and the runway to grow into the senior leader you're becoming.
Our core platform is Synapse WMS and BlueYonder. Deep experience in one and willingness to master the other is exactly the profile we want.
What You'll Own
- System Mastery: Become our go-to guru for Synapse. You'll own configuration, implement new features, and make sure we're squeezing every ounce of value from both platforms.
- Continuous Improvement: Dig into the details, analyze KPIs, and champion the enhancements that move the needle on efficiency and accuracy. Your ideas won't sit in a backlog; you'll drive them to done.
- Flawless Execution: Run WMS projects end-to-end: requirements, configuration, testing, rollout. This is where you build the project leadership track record that defines a senior career.
- Integrations: Support and extend our customer data exchange interfaces (EDI, API), the connective tissue between our WMS and our customers.
- Training & Support: Share what you know. Build engaging training, coach users to proficiency, and roll up your sleeves when the floor hits a roadblock.
- Process Excellence: Establish and document best-practice processes around the WMS, collaborating cross-functionally to keep the system aligned with the business.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Surface insights from WMS data that shape how we run our warehouses: inventory accuracy, throughput, labor, billing.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years hands-on WMS experience. Synapse (Made4net/Zethcon) or other 3PL-focused WMS strongly preferred; deep experience with a comparable tier-1 WMS considered
- A track record of configuring, supporting, or helping implement a WMS, and the hunger to own one outright
- Experience with (or strong exposure to) EDI/API customer data interfaces
- Analytical mindset: you instinctively pull the data before forming the opinion
- Clear communicator who can train a forklift operator and brief an executive in the same afternoon
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and capable of independent troubleshooting
- Genuinely fired up about supply chain tech and where it's headed
- Bachelor's in supply chain, logistics, IT, or related field preferred, but proven WMS chops matter more
- Multi-site or 3PL experience a plus; WMS or supply chain certifications a plus
Where You'll Go
This role is built as a launchpad. You'll get:
- Real ownership, day one. Not a support ticket queue, but the WMS itself
- Two platforms on your resume. Synapse and Blue Yonder expertise makes you rare in this market
- Multi-site scope. NJ, PA, TX, and AR operations, the environment senior roles demand
- A direct line to leadership. Your analysis and recommendations reach decision-makers, fast
