Senior Windows System Administrator

About the Role

Flyte Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Windows System Administrator to support and oversee enterprise Windows infrastructure and Microsoft technology environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for infrastructure administration, operational governance, virtualization, monitoring, vulnerability management, patch management, audit support, and infrastructure-related project activities.

The role requires strong technical expertise together with effective stakeholder management and the ability to coordinate infrastructure operations and continual improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and operational improvement of Windows Server infrastructure and enterprise applications.
• Manage and support Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, SCCM, Microsoft 365, and Skype for Business.
• Oversee SCVMM and Hyper-V environments, including capacity, availability, and resilience.
• Manage and oversee ManageEngine solutions, including:
  • ADManager Plus
  • ADSelfService Plus
  • ADAudit Plus
  • Exchange Reporter Plus
  • Endpoint Central
  • OpManager
• Establish and oversee appropriate File Server and SharePoint access-management processes.
• Oversee infrastructure monitoring through OpManager, ensuring availability, performance, and timely escalation of service-impacting issues.
• Oversee the resolution of infrastructure and enterprise application incidents and service requests.
• Support SLA management, root-cause analysis, and continual service improvement.
• Oversee vulnerability-management activities and remediation of security vulnerabilities across Windows systems and hosted applications.
• Plan and govern operating-system patching, upgrades, administrative tools, and service deployments using SCCM and ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
• Oversee routine server housekeeping and capacity-management activities.
• Review operational reports and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate responses to audit and regulatory recommendations and support closure of infrastructure-related observations.
• Ensure relevant technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions are maintained.
• Coordinate infrastructure project activities, including information-security checklists, implementation planning, stakeholder coordination, and risk management.
• Oversee UAT completion and formal approval.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline.
• 4–7 years of professional experience managing and administering complex Windows environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • SCCM
  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365
  • Skype for Business
  • Hyper-V
  • Failover Cluster
• Strong experience in enterprise infrastructure administration, monitoring, patch management, and security remediation.
• MCSE, MCSA, or Azure certification will be an advantage.
