Senior Website Management Specialist
Position Overview
Jeff Wyler Automotive Family is seeking a Lead Website Management Specialist to help oversee the performance, accuracy, development, and ongoing optimization of our dealership websites across a large, multi-brand automotive organization.
This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technical website knowledge with marketing instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. The Lead Website Management Specialist will serve as a key internal resource for our dealership websites, working closely with the Marketing Department, dealership teams, OEM partners, website providers, and other technology vendors.
This is more than a website content position. We are looking for someone who can identify problems, develop solutions, improve processes, and take ownership of our digital storefronts.
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management & Optimization
- Manage and maintain dealership websites across multiple automotive brands, markets, and website platforms.
- Ensure website content, navigation, inventory merchandising, pricing, incentives, forms, calls-to-action, and promotional messaging are accurate and up to date.
- Build and maintain landing pages for dealership promotions, marketing campaigns, events, service offers, and other initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve website usability, conversion performance, and the overall customer experience.
- Conduct regular website quality-control reviews across desktop and mobile.
- Troubleshoot website issues and coordinate with internal teams or external providers to resolve problems quickly.
- Help establish and maintain website standards across the organization.
Technical & Digital Operations
- Work within dealership website CMS platforms to create, edit, and optimize pages and site components.
- Understand and troubleshoot website tagging, forms, tracking integrations, redirects, scripts, pixels, inventory feeds, and third-party integrations.
- Partner with the marketing team to support GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and other analytics initiatives.
- Assist with website migrations, platform changes, domain management, redirects, and major site launches.
- Monitor website functionality following platform updates, vendor changes, and new integrations.
- Identify technical or operational issues before they negatively impact customers or marketing performance.
Inventory, Pricing & Merchandising (In Collaboration with Digital Merchandising Specialist)
- Monitor the flow of vehicle inventory, pricing, incentives, photos, and merchandising data to dealership websites.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to identify and resolve inventory-feed or data discrepancies.
- Ensure merchandising strategies are implemented correctly and consistently across dealership websites.
- Assist with troubleshooting third-party integrations and automotive technology platforms.
OEM & Compliance Management
- Maintain familiarity with website requirements across multiple automotive manufacturers.
- Help ensure dealership websites remain compliant with OEM brand standards, advertising requirements, and applicable company policies.
- Coordinate required website updates related to OEM programs, incentives, disclosures, and brand initiatives.
- Work with website providers and OEM partners to resolve compliance or platform-related issues.
Vendor & Project Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for website providers and related digital vendors.
- Manage website support tickets and projects from initial request through completion.
- Hold vendors accountable for deadlines, quality, and issue resolution.
- Participate in vendor meetings and communicate project status, priorities, and outstanding issues.
- Assist with evaluating new website technologies, tools, vendors, and digital capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional website initiatives involving Marketing, Sales, Fixed Operations, IT, and dealership leadership.
Leadership & Process Improvement
- Provide guidance and support to other members of the website management team.
- Establish processes that improve accuracy, efficiency, quality control, and turnaround time.
- Maintain documentation for recurring website processes and procedures.
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate or streamline repetitive tasks.
- Challenge existing processes and recommend better ways to manage the organization's digital presence.
- Take ownership of projects and drive them through completion with limited supervision.
