Why you'll love this role as Senior Web & Performance Manager
This hands‑on role owns Civica’s web estate as a commercial asset, ensuring user journeys are relevant, conversion‑optimized, and aligned to go‑to‑market strategy. Responsible for building and deploying web pages and campaign landing pages within the CMS, the postholder delivers high‑quality, on‑brand experiences without developer support. Key accountabilities include conversion rate optimization, web analytics, tag management, and A/B testing to drive measurable pipeline impact. The role also contributes to Civica’s web modernization programme, shaping requirements and performance criteria, while partnering closely with SEO, Brand & Creative, Marketing Operations, and Marketing AI teams.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Own web user journey strategy by ICP and product family, ensuring conversion‑optimized experiences.
- Lead conversion rate optimization with A/B testing, analytics, and behavioral insights.
- Manage web analytics infrastructure (GA4, tag management, attribution) for reliable performance data.
- Define and report on KPIs—traffic, engagement, conversion, lead volume, and pipeline impact.
- Partner with SEO Manager to integrate organic search and web performance.
- Contribute to web transformation programme, shaping requirements and performance criteria.
- Build and deploy campaign landing pages and maintain product content directly in CMS.
Requirements
What you will bring to be successful in this role
- Proven expertise in web performance and conversion rate optimisation, with a demonstrable track record of improving conversion metrics and pipeline contribution from a B2B web estate, ideally within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Advanced web analytics capability, with hands-on proficiency in GA4 or equivalent platforms, tag management systems, and attribution modelling, and the ability to derive actionable insight from complex data sets.
- Strong CRO methodology and testing discipline, with hands-on experience designing and interpreting A/B and multivariate tests, and the ability to build a structured experimentation programme that drives continuous improvement.
- Deep understanding of ICP-based web journey design, with the ability to translate buyer persona insight and product family priorities into differentiated, conversion-optimised on-site experiences that resonate with distinct audience segments.
- Commercially oriented and pipeline-focused, with the ability to connect web performance data to revenue outcomes, communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders, and prioritise optimisation activity based on commercial impact.
- Hands-on proficiency with CMS platforms, with the practical ability to build, design, and deploy web pages and landing pages independently, including layout, formatting, and on-brand visual execution, combined with sufficient broader technical literacy to contribute meaningfully to web infrastructure and platform transformation discussions.
