 ABOUT THE TEAM:

You’ll be joining Tide’s PCS Acquisition team, which owns the customer-facing journeys that drive credit applications across partner and direct channels. We build key experiences such as Quote Form, referral flows, and other conversion journeys that directly influence growth across multiple markets.

Our team is lean, hands-on, and product-focused, with frontend, backend, and mobile engineers working closely with Product to ship improvements quickly and responsibly. This role is part of a space where frontend quality, speed, and thoughtful execution matter a lot, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys ownership and wants to work on product surfaces that are both visible and commercially important.

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

  • You will be learning and sharing knowledge with our engineers on new things often, as we believe in experimentation, T-shaped engineering and collaborative learning for career growth. 
  • You will be working on our new and existing products for our Business Areas. We have an exciting roadmap with brand new features and we will need you to solve interesting problems. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by leveraging your experience connecting with less experienced engineers, collaborating and cheering together. 
  • You will be joining one of our expanding multi-disciplinary agile teams, you will work together with product owners, UI/UX designers, architects, engineers, and other business members to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions. 
  • You will ideally join our Web and Flutter Community of Practices, and your input on how to improve processes and maintain high quality across the team will be very welcome.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in web development. 
  • You have worked in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • You have strong knowledge in Semantic HTML, CSS(3) and JavaScript(ES6). 
  • You have solid experience in Angular 2+, RxJS, and NgRx. 
  • You have solid experience in using testing tools such as Jest and Cypress or similar. 
  • You are passionate about building great products in small, autonomous, agile teams. 
  • You have a passion for automation tests and experience writing testable code. 
  • You have experience building sleek, high-performance user interfaces and complex Web apps that successfully shipped to customers.
  • Big advantage, if you have worked on flutter projects.

OUR TECH STACK:

  • Angular 15+ (including NgRx and Angular Material) 
  • Nrwl Nx to manage them as mono repo
  • Storybook as live components documentation
  • Node.js, NestJs and PostgreSQL to power up the BFF middleware
  • EKS/Kubernetes used by the Cloud team to run the platform
  • Contentful to provide some dynamic content to the apps
  • DataDog, SonarCloud, Semgrep, LaunchDarkly, and Segment to help us safely track, monitor and deploy
  • GitHub with GitHub actions to power the Cl/CD pipelines (new joiners are encouraged to have something deployed to production in their first 2 weeks)
