Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to strengthen our web application capabilities on the Fleethub platform.
In this role, you will design and develop scalable, high-performance frontend applications using modern React-based architecture. You will drive frontend best practices, guide technical decisions, and mentor developers while working closely with AWS Application Developers, the Application Development Architect, and the Technical Lead/Scrum Master to deliver scalable, secure, and business‑critical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Define scalable frontend architecture, component structure, and state management approaches
- Ensure performance optimization, reusability, and maintainability of UI components
- Lead UI/UX implementation aligned with product and design guidelines
UI Frameworks & Libraries
- Build responsive and accessible UI using Material-UI (MUI)
- Implement complex forms using react-hook-form
- Develop data visualizations using Chart.js
- Handle file generation and exports using ExcelJS
Integration & API Handling
- Integrate frontend with backend services via REST APIs
- Ensure efficient data handling, caching, and error management
- Collaborate with backend teams for API design alignment
Testing & Quality
- Define and implement frontend testing strategies using Jest
- Ensure high code quality through reviews, standards, and best practices
- Drive performance improvements and reduce UI latency
Technical Leadership & Mentoring
- Mentor and guide mid-level developers
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Contribute to technical decision-making and architectural discussions
Agile Delivery
- Work closely with Technical Lead / Scrum Master on sprint planning
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of frontend/web development experience
- Strong expertise in:
- React
- JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript
- Material-UI (MUI)
- Experience with:
- react-hook-form
- Chart.js
- ExcelJS
- Strong understanding of:
- REST APIs and frontend-backend integration
- Component-based architecture and state management
- Experience with Node.js ecosystem (for tooling/build systems)
- Strong experience with testing frameworks (Jest)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance optimization and large-scale UI applications
- Exposure to micro frontend architecture
- Exposure to AI‑related use cases
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment practices
- Strong understanding of UX principles and responsive design
