Core Responsibilities
- Own the entire website lifecycle — from idea to launch to continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain fast, scalable, SEO- and GenAI-optimized websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress.
- Translate stakeholder inputs into high-performing, visually polished pages that drive performance.
- Ensure sitewide consistency of components, visual design, and interaction patterns.
- Proactively identify and execute improvements — from UX bugs to performance gains — even beyond direct asks.
- Document templates, blocks, and workflows so content editors can publish and updates pages efficiently without engineering support.
- Manage global templates and reusable components with scalability in mind.
- Implement marketing tooling: Google Tag Manager, analytics, tracking pixels, forms, etc.
- Optimize for page speed, responsiveness, and modern search behavior (e.g., structured data, schema, AI-readiness).
- Adapt desktop design files into mobile-first responsive layouts that function across multiple devices and browsers.
- Stay current with front-end trends, frameworks, SEO standards, and browser compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Creative, Content, and Demand Gen to execute website roadmap items.
- Bring strong project management discipline — communicate early, follow through reliably, and ship fast.
- Deploy code updates via GIT, review pull requests, and participate in code reviews.
- Build and maintain API Gateways and Lambda functions as needed to support Marketing services.

Key Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in web development, including custom development with PHP and front-end frameworks.
- Strong fluency in HTML, CSS (SASS), JavaScript, PHP, and experience with WordPress at scale (custom themes, plugins, optimization).
- Exceptional eye for visual design and UX — you understand the “why” behind spacing, hierarchy, and layout.
- Familiarity with performance testing, Lighthouse, page speed optimization, accessibility best practices.
- Experience with SEO, structured data/schema, and optimizing for GenAI and search engines.
- Skilled with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Proven ability to set up and manage Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, embedded forms, and event tracking.
- Experience juggling multiple priorities in high-growth, startup-like environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently without micromanagement.
- Ability to produce documentation that empowers non-technical roles.
- Experience with GIT workflows and multi-developer collaboration.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and REST APIs (building, consuming, troubleshooting).
