Job Summary

This executive role is designed as the principal execution partner to the CEO, playing a central part in advancing strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence savings opportunities throughout the organization. The position will be responsible for optimizing and standardizing processes, accelerating decision-making, and ensuring diligent follow-through on executive commitments. Harmonizing leadership alignment, promoting innovation, and fostering collaboration and accountability will be core to their mandate, creating a culture that supports efficient and compliant profitable growth across all regions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Oversight: Lead the execution of global functional strategies that drive operational efficiencies, drive continuous improvement across regional warehouse and distribution center networks through a centralized center of excellence. Ensure alignment with enterprise objectives while leading cross-functional initiatives that enhance productivity, elevate quality, and improve cost efficiency.
  • Governance - Oversee enterprise operational governance structure with clear escalation paths and decision rights
  • Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine standardized logistics procedures and operational workflows. Establish scalable policies that drive optimal performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key metrics, dashboards, and benchmarks to monitor business performance, pinpointing areas for improvement and enforcing accountability across business units.
  • Innovation & Technology: Advocate for and deploy advanced technologies and automation to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Promote collaboration across regional teams, facilitating the exchange of best practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Executive support: Assist with presentations and board material for the CEO and drive the agenda for staff meetings.
  • Strategic Project Management: Develop project plans and deliverables, lead key transformational projects, and mentor project teams on workarounds, recovery plans, and scope changes.
  • Change Management: Deliver measurable results through operational excellence initiatives, integrating strategies into business planning and supporting change management and communication programs.
  • Governance & Compliance: Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards, ensuring business unit needs are in line with broader corporate interests.
  • Execution Road-Mapping: Identify and resolve barriers to effective execution, establishing a clear roadmap for enterprise initiatives.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in operational excellence, logistics, supply chain management, or site leadership within a global distribution environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation initiatives with measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with program management and scheduling tools and techniques.
  • Certification or experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ERP and other enterprise platforms, with a proven ability to work closely with technology team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in large, matrixed organizations, including experience leading a distributed sales force, supplier development functions, and/or procurement operations.
  • Experience in electronics, distribution, supply chain management, or other high-volume distribution preferred.

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
