Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Visual Designer – Design Systems to own the visual language, brand expression, and UI consistency across our products and platforms. This role defines how our brand shows up at scale—across interfaces, products, and touchpoints.
You will be the steward of aesthetic coherence, craft excellence, and visual scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Visual System Ownership
o
Lead the creation and evolution of a robust visual design system
o
Define typography, color systems, iconography, spacing, motion principles, and theming
o
Ensure pixel-perfect execution across platforms (web, mobile, emerging surfaces)
Brand × Product Integration
o
Translate brand principles into usable, flexible UI systems
o
Maintain consistency between marketing, brand, and product experiences
o
Ensure the system supports localization, accessibility, and scalability
Design Craft Leadership
o
Set the bar for visual quality, polish, and attention to detail
o
Conduct visual reviews and mentor designers on craft and system usage
o
Push teams from “acceptable” to exceptional design quality
Cross-Functional Collaboration
o
Work closely with UX Design Leads to align visual expression with interaction logic
o
Partner with Engineering to ensure accurate implementation of visual specs
o
Contribute to design ops: documentation, governance, and contribution models
Required Qualifications
o
6–9 years of experience in Visual / UI / Product Design
o
Demonstrated leadership in building and maintaining visual design systems
o
Deep expertise in typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy
o
Mastery of Figma, design tokens, and component-driven UI workflows
o
Strong portfolio showing system thinking + visual excellence
