Job Summary:
Senior Vice President, Product and Sales, is a strategic executive leader responsible for driving growth and financial outcomes for the Company’s Marketplace, Medicare Advantage (MA), and CareSource Military & Veterans (CSMV) product lines through comprehensive product strategy and sales leadership. This position is responsible for the design, management, and financial performance for the Company’s product lines, including sales strategy and execution, Open Enrollment Period (OEP)/Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) planning, ongoing broker and general agency relationships, and building and maintaining strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders across the product portfolio.
Essential Functions:
- Drive the evolution of a multi-line product portfolio across Marketplace, Medicare Advantage (MA), and CareSource Military & Veterans (CSMV) to ensure competitive positioning, regulatory compliance, exceptional member value, and robust financial performance.
- Spearhead cross-functional teams to refine product design, pricing strategies, network optimization, and benefit configurations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor developments and emerging trends to identify and implement enhancements and new product opportunities that align with market demands.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with corporate objectives, focusing on building and managing high-performing internal and external sales teams while fostering a data-driven culture of accountability and results.
- Oversee broker service delivery, including onboarding, training, and commission payment programs, ensuring competitive positioning and exceptional service within the industry.
- Ensure compliance with all sales venues, telephone, external & internal sales operations
- Promote and support a culture of compliance by facilitating engagement between the Products & Sales teams and corporate regulatory entities.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the regulatory environments for Marketplace, MA, and CSMV, assisting in the translation of regulatory procedures into actionable policies, plan changes, and operational outcomes.
- Influence quality outcomes by supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of remediation strategies aimed at enhancing HEDIS and STAR program results.
- Coordinate with Enterprise operational and technology partners in addition to vendors’ service level agreements aimed at meeting Marketplace, MA, and CSMV business objectives
- Ensure that financial, budgetary, growth, medical, and administrative cost objectives for Marketplace, MA, and CSMV are consistently met.
- Coordinate and monitor technology initiatives impacting Marketplace, MA, and CSMV business performance
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in finance, business, or health care field or equivalent work experience is required
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience, overseeing initiatives that drive systemic change and consumer adoption of health insurance and engagement initiatives, is required
- Five (5) years of sales management experience in a managed care or commercial insurance setting is required

Licensure and Certification:
- Current, unrestricted Insurance License in Accident and Health within state of assigned territory is preferred
Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business
Compensation range $300,000-$500,000. CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
