Global Payments & Trade, BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President, Market & Client Intelligence to help drive strategic growth through actionable market, client, and competitive insights. This role is focused on partnering with client coverage leadership, internal stakeholders, and clients to co-create insight-led narratives and bring solutions to life in support of growth strategies, strategic agendas, and wallet share reviews. The role supports opportunities across FI, NBFI, and Corporate client segments and requires strong understanding of the evolving payments landscape, including channels (SWIFT, H2H, APIs), different payment rails, payment solutions and Digital Assets. This role is based in the firm’s headquarters in New York, NY.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Develop market, client, and competitive insights aligned to key growth drivers, strategic agendas, and wallet share reviews within Global Payments & Trade.
Identify potential opportunities through market intelligence aligned to the broader sales planning process.
Partner with client coverage leads, internal stakeholders, and clients to co-create solutions and bring them to life.
Support the development of strategic opportunities across FI, NBFI, and Corporate client segments.
Create highly customized sales presentations, analytics, and related materials in clear, user-friendly, and easily comprehensible formats.
Provide actionable intelligence on market dynamics, including competitor capabilities and sales approaches, to support client engagement and solution development.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- 7-10+ years of relevant work experience required
Demonstrated ability to develop market, client, and competitive intelligence that supports business growth, sales strategy, and solutioning.
Strong understanding of the payments landscape, including channels, rails, payment solutions and evolving solutions such as Digital Assets.
Strong analytical and presentation-development capabilities, with experience translating complex insights into clear, client-ready materials.
Ability to collaborate effectively with client coverage leadership, internal stakeholders, and clients to support engagement, and opportunity development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to shape compelling, insight-driven narratives for internal and external audiences.
Deep topic knowledge and the ability to connect intelligence, growth strategy, client opportunity identification, and solution-oriented storytelling.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award.
