About the Role
Serves as client engagement lead servicing assigned client accounts/brands and primary liaison communicating client needs to cross-functional agency team (creative, project management, finance/operations, etc). Responsible for facilitating the development of strategies and tactical plans for assigned brands/portfolios at key pharma biotech clients.
What You’ll Do
- Day-to-day supervisory responsibilities for junior account staff
- Matrix responsibility for internal cross-functional team engagement (creative, project management, finance/operations, digital engagement, production, etc.)
- Client team engagement/management with brand as well as extended cross-functional client teams including: HCP, DTP, market research, finance, agency partners, others
- Maintain a current and robust knowledge of client’s business in order to direct and contribute to their marketing and communication plans and ongoing improvements to strategic and tactical plan execution. Assists in the development of tactical concepts for annual brand planning.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional team to engage with and influence decision makers and influencers.
- Development, management, and reconciliation of annual/ad hoc statements of work (SOWs) including: client management (alignment with brand, finance, procurement teams), annual brand planning process, weekly/monthly/quarterly financial reviews, SOW updates/revisions as appropriate
- Ensures that the project deliverables requested/required by the client are efficiently delivered on time and within budget.
- Manages account finances responsibly, with proactive concern for/attention to finances for both the client and the agency; including review and approval (subject to review by VP/SVP) of all client and agency invoices
What You’ll Need
- 7+ years of healthcare marketing and communications experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA, MPH or advanced degree preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent account management skills including: organized, proactive, efficient, and effective at ensuring positive results
- Excellent client engagement skills including: proactive communication, meeting management, presentation development and delivery, responsive to questions/issues
- Excellent team management including strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial management skills including: project budgets, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, annual SOW
- Ability to think and work independently and as an extension of account and creative leadership
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across disciplines within Ogilvy Health to fortify current business and seek organic (current) and new (pitch) business growth opportunities

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range
$200,000—$260,000 USD
