Pershing LLC seeks Senior Vice President, Domain Architect in Jersey City, NJ. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions, while ensuring compliance with company policies. Strategize and contribute to enterprise level technological initiatives on architectures, patterns and standards. Define and implement architecture and design in accordance with architecture principles. Adhere to established architecture methodologies and standards and ensure compliance with company policy. Identify organization-wide initiatives and make recommendations for the use of technology. Work closely with senior management to educate and to articulate resource requirements necessary to promote architecture goals. Coordinate architecture activities of the organization to assure the strategic goals of the organization are met. Work toward architecture and design solutions. Perform enterprise planning and designing solutions for emerging business and complex technology environments. Identify and recommend ways to drive more value out of the company's technology assets. Works with other stakeholders in optimizing architecture solutions objectives Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing and developing client proposal and investment modelling tools tailored to different personas including advisors and wealth managers; Performing proof of concepts, negotiations, and selection of products and tools to support application strategy, and working closely with financial software vendors to integrate vendor components within a larger framework; Utilizing Angular, TypeScript, Java, Spring boot, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, Python, SQL Server, Mongo & Oracle technologies and deploying and supporting them in a cloud environment; Developing RESTful APIs to be externally exposed to financial services clients, and designing efficient, easily understood, and extensible signatures; Utilizing a SAFe agile environment, and rapidly iterating with product / UX teams; and Understanding DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for modernized mainframe applications, ensuring faster and reliable software delivery.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $176,661.48 - $203,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify the base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
