The Role
We are seeking a Senior Vice President – Corporate to join our senior leadership team at our corporate headquarters in Long Island City (soon to be Manhattan), reporting directly to the CEO. This is a pivotal executive role providing oversight of all Corporate Operations, ensuring that I-Grace's people, processes, and fiscal resources remain aligned with its strategic objectives and brand identity.
This position combines executive administrative leadership with comprehensive financial stewardship, serving as a critical partner to the CEO and senior leadership across corporate governance, risk management, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Corporate Operational Leadership
  • Support corporate strategic goals through financial modeling, investment analysis, and scenario planning
  • Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to design and implement business systems and operational controls that support strategic company goals
  • Create and maintain cross-divisional relationships that enable effective leadership and organizational cohesion
  • Guide company-wide process improvement efforts and promote a culture of efficiency, accountability, and continual improvement
  • Foster long-term internal and external partnerships essential to business growth and operational success
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company's values and mission in all internal and external interactions
     
Risk Management & Organizational Integrity
  • Establish, implement, and oversee policies and systems that ensure regulatory and legal compliance across departments and business units
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks through sound policies and strategic contingency planning
  • Oversee the legal function, including management of outside counsel, contract review, corporate governance, and legal risk exposure
  • Manage the company's insurance program and claims process, including policy procurement, coverage adequacy, renewal negotiations, and active claims management
     
Financial Oversight & Planning
  • Lead corporate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with the Controller and business unit leaders
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and management reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators
  • Oversee internal controls to protect company assets and ensure adherence to financial regulations
  • Oversee the Controller in day-to-day financial activities including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, tax advisors, and investors
  • Support internal and external audits and lead compliance initiatives
     
Administrative, IT & People Systems Oversight
  • Oversee and guide Human Resources and Corporate Operations, as well as external partners supporting administrative functions
  • Oversee the Information Technology function, ensuring reliable infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems that support business growth
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen internal communications, employee experience, and company culture
  • Use data to inform decisions related to performance, staffing, and company-wide initiatives
  • Evaluate and streamline administrative systems and technologies to enhance service delivery
  • Guide and supervise the Corporate Team, fostering a high-performance culture and strong cross-functional collaboration
     
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in executive leadership roles with a strong background in finance, business administration, or corporate operations, including at least 5 years within a construction, engineering, or architecture firm; experience in high-end residential, luxury, or hospitality strongly preferred
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and implementing enterprise-wide systems and controls
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Organizational Development, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and organizational development
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and executive collaboration
  • Deep knowledge of core business functions including Finance, HR, and IT, along with a solid understanding of the construction industry
  • Strong competency in data analysis, decision-making, and performance management
  • Proficiency in financial systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools
  • Experience with corporate transactions such as M&A, divestitures, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: $200k to $350k.
