Position Summary
Good360 is seeking an innovative and strategic Senior Vice President, Communications, Brand & Marketing to lead the organization's brand, marketing, communications, and public relations functions. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this leader drives communications, media and engagement strategy, brand expansion, and innovation, while ensuring operational excellence, fiscal stewardship, and alignment with enterprise priorities.

Equally comfortable developing long-term strategies and rolling up their sleeves to execute, this leader is energized by building, testing, refining, and continuously improving how Good360 engages the world.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following
- Define the strategic direction and an operating model for marketing and communications, ensuring consistent execution, scalability, and sustained brand growth.
- Drive Good360's thought leadership and market positioning, establishing the organization and its executive leaders as authoritative voices in product philanthropy, disaster recovery, and corporate social responsibility while differentiating the brand across a competitive landscape.
- Build and lead a cross-functional collaboration framework across Resource Development, Programs, Disaster Recovery, and Corporate Partnerships to uncover and optimize marketing and communications opportunities, deepen partnerships, and increase return on investment.
- Build the infrastructure and strategy for high-level influencer and celebrity engagement grounded in authentic mission alignment, cultivating ambassadors and high-profile voices who amplify Good360's impact and extend its reach to new audiences.
- Oversee reputation monitoring, brand benchmarking, and analytics to assess impact and inform continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and lead Good360's enterprise brand strategy, ensuring a clear, differentiated, and compelling market position that reflects the organization's mission, impact, and long-term strategic objectives.
- Guide brand architecture, messaging, visual identity, and positioning across all audiences while maintaining consistency throughout every communication channel and stakeholder touchpoint.
Marketing Strategy & Digital Growth
- Lead integrated marketing strategies that increase awareness, engagement, and measurable business results across digital, traditional, and emerging platforms.
- Oversee website strategy, digital marketing, email communications, social media, paid media, SEO/SEM, analytics, and marketing technology to optimize performance and continuously improve audience engagement.
Communications, Public Relations & Earned Media
- Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that strengthens Good360's visibility and influence nationally.
- Cultivate relationships with media, industry organizations, and strategic partners to secure meaningful earned media coverage while positioning Good360 and its executive leadership as recognized thought leaders in product philanthropy, disaster recovery, corporate social responsibility, and nonprofit innovation.
- Lead executive communications, speech development, awards strategy, annual reporting, and external messaging.
Crisis Communications & Reputation Management
- Serve as the organization's executive leader for crisis communications, issues management, and reputation strategy.
- Develop proactive crisis communication plans while providing strategic counsel during disaster response operations, emerging issues, and high-profile organizational events to ensure timely, coordinated, and credible communications.
Content Strategy & Storytelling
- Lead an enterprise-wide content strategy that translates Good360's impact into compelling stories that inspire action, deepen stakeholder engagement, and strengthen organizational reputation.
- Oversee the creation of multimedia content, publications, videos, campaigns, partner stories, and thought leadership that demonstrate measurable impact while reinforcing the organization's brand.
Strategic Campaigns & Partnerships
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen corporate partnerships, increase engagement, support fundraising initiatives, and expand public awareness.
- Collaborate across Resource Development, Programs, Disaster Recovery, and Corporate Partnerships to create campaigns that advance organizational priorities and maximize impact.
- Represent Good360 at conferences, industry events, and strategic engagements to strengthen relationships and increase organizational visibility.
Executive Leadership
- Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, shaping and owning Good360's enterprise-wide communications, brand, and media strategy — advising the CEO and Board on reputational risk and opportunity, positioning the organization as the definitive voice in corporate philanthropy and product donation, and building the internal capability and external partnerships needed to scale visibility and trust across a rapidly growing national platform.
- Partner closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors to develop presentations, strategic communications, annual reports, and materials that effectively communicate Good360's vision, strategy, and impact.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing and communications team focused on innovation, accountability, collaboration, and measurable results.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, operational excellence, and data-informed decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, brand, and communications, preferably within the nonprofit or social impact sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand visibility.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse, cross-functional teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels, including board members, donors, and corporate partners.
- Expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, public relations, and donor engagement.

Salary Range
Salary commiserate with experience, plus annual bonus potential tied to goal achievement and overall individual and organizational performance
Note: Compensation is based on a candidate's experience, skills, education, and geographic location
Work Location
Hybrid, based in our Old Town Alexandria, VA office (minimum of two days per week with Tuesday as an anchor day)
