Leads the strategic direction, growth, and performance of the Business Lending and Services portfolio. Accountable for P&L performance, market expansion, program & product management, member experience, operations, and the broader business member product and portfolio strategy. Responsibilities- Define and execute short- and long-term strategic vision and goals for Lending’s Business Lending division, aligning segment strategies to enterprise growth objectives, member needs, and market opportunities
- Accountable for strategic direction, leadership, portfolio performance, including revenue growth, profitability, credit quality, portfolio mix, member experience, risk governance, and operational effectiveness of the business lending and services portfolio
- Lead business development strategies through market expansion and member acquisition strategies, relationship-based sales, pipeline discipline; identify new growth opportunities based on market trends, economic conditions, and competitive intelligence
- Lead enterprise product and portfolio management, including go-to-market product strategy, lifecycle management, roadmap development, market positioning, member adoption, pricing discipline, product launch strategy, portfolio performance, and ongoing optimization
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients, business leaders, and community stakeholders to advance business member value and long-term organizational performance
- Oversee portfolio health and credit quality, ensuring adherence to risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, including underwriting standards, pricing discipline, portfolio monitoring practices, and sound credit governance
- Ensure Business Banking and Lending strategies, activities, products, and operations comply with applicable federal and state laws, rules, regulations, internal policies and governance standards
- Define and deliver performance and effectiveness, establish relevant financial, product, portfolio, member, operational, sales, and risk metrics, determine gaps and opportunities for optimizing capabilities
- Lead, coach, and develop teams of relationship managers and sales leaders; establishes performance expectations, sales discipline, and pipeline management rigor
- Drive cross-sell and relationship deepening strategies through collaboration with Treasury Management, Retail, Wealth, US Small Business Administration (SBA) and other partners
- Ensure operational excellence through technology enhancements, consistent execution of processes, controls, and compliance standards, documentation, issue management, and continuous process improvement
- Champion technology-enabled transformation across the business lending and services portfolio, including digital capabilities, data and analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, workflow modernization, member self-service, process redesign, and scalable operating models

- Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive executive leadership experience in commercial and/or small business banking, commercial credit, business services, business development, or related financial services operations, preferably within a large, complex financial institution
- Extensive experience in commercial and business banking, including products, credit structuring, underwriting standards, SBA lending, operational controls, risk governance and portfolio growth and management
- Extensive experience in product and portfolio management, including strategy development, lifecycle and roadmap management, business case creation, performance monitoring, market assessment, pricing strategy, client adoption, go-to-market strategies, and cross-functional execution
