Job DescriptionTom Clancy's The Division 2: Survivors is the return of winter survival to The Division franchise with improvements and bold new additions to the extraction experience.
We are looking for a Senior VFX Artist with a strong technical skill-set and drive, to join our team. You'll be responsible for creating astonishing visual effects aligned with the games artistic vision and utilizing the technical possibilities of our Snowdrop engine. You'll work closely with our Technical Art team, and other interdisciplinary peers.
What you'll do
- Producing realistic looking visual effects
- Planning, estimating and prioritizing your tasks
- Optimizing workflows and maintaining a balance between quality and performance
- Building relationships with Artists, Designers, Technical Artists and Programmers to facilitate effective collaboration during the creation of our game assets
- Establishing and share best practices relating to VFX
- Providing tutorials, documentation and guides of project tools and pipelines.
- Contributing and participate in a culture of open and honest feedback.
- As a Senior you'll also be mentoring, coaching and sharing feedback with your peers
What you'll bring
- Professional experience with VFX, including at least one AAA game development cycle.
- Strong working knowledge in VFX tools including Maya, as well as an understanding of the technical constraints within a game engine.
- A portfolio/showreel detailing your experience with key real-time VFX elements
- You are comfortable working autonomously and can present your ideas in a clear way. You thrive when improving current processes with your technical knowledge and you are motivated to understand how things work. You are comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary team where you can each utilize your niche expertise to achieve a higher quality together.
