Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Valuations Coordinator
In this role, you will:
- Perform valuation reviews to confirm appropriate content and compliance with federal, regulatory and bank policy
- Support the work of less experienced staff and overall effectiveness of the whole team
- Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Valuations
- Assign reviews according to due dates and rush requests
- Ensure proper distribution of workflow according to schedules
- Monitor daily, monthly and quarterly production reports and assist with on-boarding and training
- Perform complex organizational, assignable, workable and customer-centric tasks
- Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experience staff
- Interact with immediate team, department staff and individuals outside of Valuations on questions or feedback
- Interact with internal or external customers in a customer support role.
- 4+ years of Valuations or Lending experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
- Possess a strong understanding of marketable securities, financial instruments, and life cycle of a loan.
- Able to use the Knowledge of Security agreements and legal documents required for collateral loans.
- Work on the concepts of Letter of credit, term loans, Revolving Line of credit, Commitment, and margin calculation of the collateral value.
- Perform operational accounting activities related to account reconcilement and maintenance.
- Ability to liaise with Relationship managers, understand business requirements, apply the risk fundamentals to unstructured scenarios, and deliver tasks accordingly.
- Duties may include providing operational accounting support to internal business groups and/or operations departments ensuring that accounts are being managed within the account policy requirements, analyzing and reviewing accounting documents for accuracy.
- Tracing and investigating transactions to resolve questionable data and applying corrective actions when necessary; preparing various reports using online systems; preparing account reconciliation and certification.
- Performing customer account maintenance duties reviewing taxes.
- Assists and provides guidance to lower-level Operations accounting clerks and specialists with reconciliation of complex problems.
- May have indirect/direct interaction with internal and external clients. Performs complex projects as requested.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- The Collateral Borrowing Base Analyst is responsible for analyzing and validating collateral data submitted by clients to determine borrowing base availability. This includes assessing the eligibility of accounts receivable (AR), inventory, and other assets, ensuring compliance with loan agreements, and supporting funding decisions.
- Coordinate with relationship managers and clients for audits and amendments.
- Perform periodic borrowing base calculations and updates.
- Monitor financials and reporting covenants
