Job Summary:

The KeyBank Marketing and Enterprise Brand Team delivers unique expertise that create drive brand consistency and business impact. KeyBank’s Marketing and Enterprise Brand Design Team is looking to hire a Senior UX/UI Designer to primarily focus on Key.com and expanding and maintaining our Figma component library. The Senior Designer will be a self-starter ready to able to handle large projects with input from Senior Design Leadership. Design skills require an understanding of responsive design, layout, typography, image usage, and branding to help the team create experiences that connect clients with solutions. The ability to collaborate, solve problems, and communicate effectively is also critical for this role.

Typical work and needs include:

  • Produce client-centric designs for Key.com and other digital Marketing touchpoints.
  • Assist UX Lead with continuous improvement user experience projects for KeyBank’s digital platforms
  • Expertise in understanding and implementing branding. Ensure consistency of brand across KeyBank’s touch points.
  • Communicate with business stakeholders to receive feedback and recommend evidence-based and client-centric solutions.
  • Work effectively and collaborate with writers, developers, web content specialists, marketing managers, and the wider Marketing team
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Motivation for research and find solutions to design problems that impact the wider client experience

Preferred skills:

  • Solid graphic design skills focused on imagery, layout, color, typography, and brand interpretation.
  • Experienced in creating user-friendly designs for desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Ability to drive the execution of all design work from concept to final delivery of assets.

Software skills required include:

  • Figma
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • MS Office

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, graphic design, visual communications, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4-5 years of professional UX/UI design experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and personal accountability
  • Reliable and responsive communication skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000 to $95,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
