Senior UX/UI Designer

We're looking for a highly creative, data-driven, and performance-oriented Senior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role sits at the strategic intersection of user experience, interface design, front-end development, and conversion marketing. You'll lead the design, build, and continuous optimization of our websites, landing pages, and critical marketing funnels, playing a crucial part in driving growth through fast, seamless, and user-centric digital products.

Design & User Experience Leadership

• Lead User Research & Discovery: Conduct comprehensive user research (qualitative and quantitative) to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Synthesize insights into actionable design recommendations.
• Information Architecture & Interaction Design: Architect intuitive information structures and design engaging interactions, ensuring seamless user flows and delightful micro-interactions across our digital platforms.
• Design & Build High-Impact Experiences: Conceptualize, design, and build responsive websites and marketing landing pages with an unwavering focus on performance, clarity, and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) best practices.
• Prototyping & Wireframing: Create comprehensive design artifacts, from low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity interactive prototypes, to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Design System Contribution: Actively contribute to and evolve our nascent design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all digital products.

Development & Optimization

• Front-End Development: Write clean, semantic HTML and CSS, and collaborate with visual designers or leverage Figma/Sketch to translate mocks into dynamic, production-ready web pages.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with content, performance marketing, and development agency teams to rapidly iterate on layout, copy, imagery, and UX for continual, data-driven optimization.
• Technical Performance & Quality: Ensure robust cross-browser/device compatibility and optimize site speed/performance using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse.
• A/B Testing & CRO: Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests using platforms (e.g., Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely) to continuously improve conversion rates.
• Analytics & Tracking Integration: Ensure accurate integration and management of pixels, tracking tags, and analytics tools (e.g., GA4, GTM, Facebook Pixel).

Strategy & Innovation

• Strategic Impact: Connect design decisions directly to business goals, articulating the "why" and advocating for user-centered solutions that drive measurable results.
• Industry & Tech Awareness: Stay at the forefront of modern web design trends, marketing strategies, and FinTech innovations, consistently bringing fresh ideas and best practices.
• Accessibility Champion: Champion accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.

• 5+ years in front-end web development and UX/UI design, with a strong background in Laravel-based projects. Proven expertise building responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and Blade templates.
• Livewire & Laravel Ecosystem: Practical experience using Laravel Livewire to create dynamic, reactive components without heavy JavaScript, seamlessly integrated with Laravel backends.
• Styling Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of Tailwind CSS for utility-first design. Familiarity with Bootstrap and ability to adapt to project-specific design systems.
• Design Expertise: Deep understanding of conversion-focused design, UX/UI best practices, and creating visually engaging, accessible user experiences.
• UX Research Acumen: Hands-on experience conducting user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable UI improvements.
• JavaScript Proficiency: Experience with modern JS frameworks like Vue.js or Alpine.js (especially within the Laravel ecosystem) is a strong plus.
• Tools: Proficiency in Figma for interface design and prototyping. Experience with Miro, Adobe XD, or Sketch is beneficial.
• Analytics & Tracking: Experience implementing tracking pixels, managing analytics tags (e.g., GA4, Meta Pixel), and ensuring data integrity.
• Web Best Practices: Strong understanding of SEO principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), performance optimization, and semantic markup.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across design, development, and product teams. Strong design rationale articulation.
• Problem Solving: Creative and analytical thinker who can quickly iterate, troubleshoot UI issues, and build user-centric solutions.
• Language: Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

• Extensive experience with A/B testing and CRO platforms.
• Basic knowledge of back-end integration or experience with CMS tools like WordPress or Webflow.
• Understanding of funnel analytics and key performance metrics (e.g., CTR, bounce rate, lead conversion).
• Prior experience in FinTech, lead generation, or high-growth startup environments.
• Experience mentoring or guiding more junior designers.
