We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior UX Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will help define, test and bring to life a range of solutions related to Verily’s precision health platform and its enterprise product offerings, including Workbench. We are looking for individuals with strong UXR experience who are diligent, detail-oriented, can work independently, and have excellent communication skills.
This role will work with our Platform & Enterprise UX group, a highly-collaborative group of designers, researchers and content strategists focused on:
- Laying the foundations of an Enterprise Portal, a single entry point serving diverse enterprise needs across Research and Care.
- Tools for configuring, governing, and navigating Verily’s comprehensive “Precision Health” data ecosystem.
- Enterprise-grade products such as Workbench, a biomedical research platform that makes the world’s most scientifically valuable data discoverable, accessible, and analyzable.
- Building blocks like our Verily Design System that enable rapid deployment of world-class care and research programs.
As a Senior UX Researcher focused on Verily’s data platform and enterprise products, you will collaborate with other UX researchers, designers, product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to help to solve some of the biggest challenges in healthcare and clinical research. You will drive research for a mix of projects, from discovery through to detailed execution, with the opportunity to help distill complex problems into clear findings and meaningful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Scoping and planning user research programs with cross-functional partners
- Preparing user research activities (working with recruiters to schedule study sessions, setting up and conducting usability sessions etc.).
- Conducting a variety of research methods including literature reviews, usability tests, qualitative interviews, surveys, and others.
- Analyzing qualitative & quantitative data.
- Communicating findings from the study to research leads and other stakeholders, in impactful and actionable ways.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, etc), Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design or related field or, in lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an applied research role, with a demonstrated ability to distill research findings into concise insights and reports.
- Understanding of strengths and shortcomings of multiple research methods. Knowledge of basic statistical concepts preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, coupled with a proactive attitude / growth mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- M.A/M.S./Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design or related field.
- Experience conducting research in the biomedical space or with enterprise products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000 - $190,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
