We're looking for a Staff Product Designer to operate as a senior individual contributor and design leader — someone who shapes the vision, raises the bar across the org, and mentors others while still being deep in the craft. You bring exceptional design quality, strong systems thinking, and a track record of leading complex, high-impact initiatives end-to-end. You don't just design screens — you set direction, influence strategy, and elevate the work of every designer around you.

You're a master at your craft. You design with intention, prototype with speed, and create real moments of delight in even the most functional flows. You see the world in design tokens, you bring joy through motion, gamification, and thoughtful interaction — and you've done it at scale. What You'll Do

• Contribute to the design vision and strategy for major product surfaces, partnering with Product and Engineering leadership to shape the roadmap

• Lead our most complex, ambiguous, and high-impact design initiatives end-to-end — from problem framing to shipped polish

• Own and evolve our design system at scale, ensuring consistency, creativity, and scalability across responsive web and mobile

• Define and uphold the craft bar for the entire design org — through critique, mentorship, and exemplary work

• Use AI tools and rapid prototyping to explore, test, and refine concepts quickly, and help establish AI-augmented design practices across the team

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Research, and Legal to simplify complex workflows and elevate user confidence

• Introduce delight through gamification, emotion, and interaction details that turn utility into memorable moments

• Champion accessibility and raise the bar for usability and visual quality across every product touchpoint

• Mentor and coach product designers across all levels, contributing to a high-performance, high-curiosity design culture

• Influence org-wide decisions on design hiring, process, and team structure as we scale
  

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional depth in systems thinking, interaction, and visual design — and a track record of leading complex initiatives at scale

• Demonstrated experience operating as a Staff or Principal-level IC, including shaping strategy, leading cross-functional initiatives, and influencing without direct authority

• Mastery of Figma, including components, variants, prototyping, and advanced design system architecture

• Proven experience scaling design systems across large teams, products, or platforms

• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles

• You think in design systems and see the world in tokens, patterns, and reusable foundations

• Experience designing across multiple touchpoints including web, mobile, voice, and emerging interfaces

• A sophisticated approach to using motion and microinteractions to guide and engage users

• Familiarity with gamification principles and a strong sense for where they add real value

• Fluency with AI tools to move faster from concept to prototype and to bring new ideas to life

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow other designers — your work is multiplied through the people you elevate

• Strong opinions, loosely held — you can articulate design rationale clearly to engineers, PMs, and executives alike
