We're seeking a hybrid UX practitioner with equal depth in design and research. This role requires someone who can independently design and execute multi-method research studies, recruit participants, synthesize insights into product strategy, and translate those insights into polished designs for complex B2B workflows. You'll drive both research and design throughout the product lifecycle. This position reports to the UX Design Manager.

This full-time position is remote-friendly, but must be local to Salt Lake City, UT or Raleigh-Durham, NC offices

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute research studies using multiple methods (interviews, usability testing, surveys, analytics); recruit participants, synthesize findings, and translate insights into actionable product

  • Design enterprise-grade experiences in Figma for complex, multi-step workflows serving diverse user roles

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers throughout discovery, design, delivery, and continuous improvement

  • Validate designs through testing, iterate based on evidence, and contribute to design system evolution

Qualifications

  • Portfolio must demonstrate both: research case studies showing methodology and synthesis AND complex enterprise designs with clear rationale

  • Proven ability to independently design and execute multi-method studies, including participant recruitment and research operations

  • Proficient designing complex workflows in Figma, working within technical constraints while maintaining quality

  • Strong stakeholder communication—present research that influences decisions and defend design with evidence · Ability to work in Agile environments balancing research rigor with delivery timeline

  • 6+ years related work experience

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Factors or related degree
  • Experience working with and contributing to a design system
  • Experience designing for B2B enterprise or healthcare platforms with complex workflows and varied user roles

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $ 114,300 - $220,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. 

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
