About the role:
This role is part of the Nintex UX team, which drives UX Design excellence across a global product suite and customer base. Nintex builds products and solutions for customer-facing SaaS automation applications including application experience, workflows and automation.
This role partners closely with various teams like Product, Engineering, Marketing and Professional Services to build and ship the best customer experience. Nintex’s products reach thousands of customers daily, and this is a great opportunity to have a scaled impact across a strong product portfolio.
Your contribution will be:
- Own design for a product or multiple products across the Nintex platform
- Define and prioritize UX for high impact patterns, component redesigns, and cross-cutting features
- Lead cross-team conceptual development that represents the most customer-centric intersection between design, business, content, and technology, including generative AI.
- Contribute to the group's best practices for UX design while continually advocating for design thinking, process, and craft throughout our organization.
- Work through ambiguity and adapt your approach to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Design hands-on to evolve the future of Nintex’s products including new modalities and applications using AI.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and detailed UI specifications for iOS and Android apps.
- Participate in cross-team conceptual development that represents the most customer-centric intersection between design, business, content, and technology, including generative AI.
- Demonstrate systems-level design thinking, delivering design solutions that radically uplevel the existing experience through its simplicity and ease of use.
- Contribute to the group's best practices for UX design while continually advocating for design thinking, process, and craft throughout our organization.
- Understand customer, partner, and end user needs deeply; develop or work from user profiles with an understanding of the entire user journey.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with Senior Product managers and Engineering leaders to influence product direction.
To be successful, we think you need:
- 8+ years of design experience
- Experience working with stakeholders to plan and execute programs that are strategic in nature
- Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms
- Previous experience in Automation Platforms is preferred
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity and deliver creative solutions
- Hands-on and capable of delivering designs, mockups and prototypes to large groups
- Exceptional attention to detail with a relentless focus on getting things done
- Experience in leading with influence, inspiring others to follow best practices, and delivering real value to customers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, when speaking to founders, community members, or executives
- Proficiency with Figma (both designing and prototyping) or other modern tools to do the same
- Have an available online portfolio
