We’re looking for a curious, ambitious, and empathetic Senior UX Designer with extensive SaaS experience to help us design the future of our products.

What you’ll do:
- Work closely with our Product team to research and solve user problems that help teacher’s save time and improve student learning outcomes.
- Coordinate with Product Managers to ensure a successful transfer of mockups/design criteria to engineers.
- QA UI of all product updates before release to ensure alignment with designs and style guide.
- Prepare and present designs to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Conduct user interviews and observations to improve product functionality.
- Collaborate with our UX Designer to push boundaries in creating compelling and thoughtful design solutions.
- Own and advocate for high quality UI, ensuring all designs uphold cross-product consistency and deliver the best possible experience to our users.
- Develop Style Guides, interaction patterns, and various design artifacts to refine our product.
Requirements
You’re perfect for this role if you:
- Have 5+ years of professional experience designing high-quality user interfaces for SaaS based web and mobile applications, with a design portfolio to show for it.
- You’re in the EdTech industry.
- Are extremely detail oriented and organized.
- Have strong visual design and branding skills.
- Are excited about data-driven design and prioritizing user needs.
- Are passionate about creating awesome user experiences that push beyond function.
- Have experience with Figma and Whimsical.
- Can internalize a design aesthetic and make it your own.
- Care about the business implications of anything you design. You're not just going after cool stuff — you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
- Love the challenges, hours, and ups-and-downs of start-up life.
- Are flexible, dedicated, and curious.
This is a Chicago-based hybrid position with 3 days a week in the office.
