Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and execution for the design organization, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and customer needs
- Leverage user feedback and data analytics to identify opportunities that will make the largest impact across the business
- Own multiple projects from start to finish, partnering with Product and Engineering to find the right solution to the problem
- Provide design input and contribute to the development and continued maintenance of an effective, world class design system
- Drive the creation of prototypes to test solutions and get buy-in prior to moving to development
- Lead and participate in cross-functional design sprints and workshops to answer key business and product questions
- Effectively communicate and present strategies, insights, and UX design rationale to stakeholders
- Willing to jump into designs, brainstorm, explore, and create solutions with the team
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Graphic Design, Human Factors, Interaction Design, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of UX or Product Design experience, with a strong portfolio showing design work across multiple platforms
- Proven track record as the sole or lead designer on complex projects from concept to implementation
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (Figma, Miro)
- Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate complex design concepts to users and stakeholders
- Experience with AI in product design, including machine learning, natural language processing, or generative design integration
- Knowledge of coding and technical implementation, including basic HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
- Strong grasp of design systems, usability principles, and accessibility standards, with skill in balancing aesthetics and functionality
- Portfolio showcasing AI-driven design solutions and intuitive user experiences using cutting-edge technology
- Excellence in communication and collaboration, with ability to present design decisions and incorporate cross-functional feedback
- Deep passion for innovation and continuous learning about AI advances in product design
- Problem-solving approach to creating user-centric solutions driven by AI and data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI-powered tools for design, including automated prototyping, design suggestions, and user behavior prediction
- Experience working with developers to implement AI-powered design features
