We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and detail-oriented individual to join our expanding Energy and Resources team as a Senior UX Designer. IFS Energy and Resources is dedicated to delivering comprehensive end-to-end Upstream Oil and Gas Solutions to our clients, facilitating cutting-edge user experiences on a unified platform.

The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for:

1. Developing and implementing user-centric design solutions that align with IFS's commitment to excellence in customer experience.
2. Conducting thorough research on diverse user personas and their operational contexts to inform design decisions and enhance product functionality.
3. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, program management, and software engineering, throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Creating comprehensive design artifacts, including wireframes, user stories, mock-ups, and prototypes, to effectively communicate user experience concepts.
5. Participating in the agile development process, iterating designs as necessary to address emerging requirements and challenges.
6. Advocating for user-centric improvements and innovations within our products and framework, demonstrating a commitment to continuous enhancement.
7. Proactively contributing to problem-solving initiatives and taking ownership of design projects from conception to implementation.
8. Engaging with stakeholders and customers to gather feedback and conduct user testing, ensuring that design solutions meet both business objectives and user needs.
9. Maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in user experience design.
10. Upholding the highest standards of usability and user-centered design practices in all aspects of work.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, creativity, and analytical thinking in fulfilling these critical responsibilities.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline is required.
• A minimum of 2 to 6 years of professional experience in a similar capacity is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in usability principles and user-centered design practices is crucial.
• Proven ability to work across multiple design disciplines with a 'generalist' mindset is necessary.
• Strong commitment to staying abreast of emerging technologies and driving innovation is required.
• Extensive experience in creating user flows and prototypes is essential.
• Demonstrated willingness to engage directly with users, customers, and stakeholders for research purposes is critical.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate design processes to stakeholders and interested parties are mandatory.
• Proven track record of successful collaboration within cross-functional teams is required.
• Ability to align work schedule with 2-3 hours of overlap with U.S. business hours.

Additional qualifications that will be viewed favorably:

• Proficiency in Figma or comparable design tools
• Substantial experience with best-of-breed or enterprise-wide business applications
