Job Description:
Senior Experience Designer (Contract) – 6 Months | Immediate Start | Melbourne
Merkle, a leader in data-driven customer experience, is seeking a Senior Experience Designer to join our team on a 6-month contract. You’ll help shape meaningful digital experiences for top brands, working alongside a collaborative team of designers, strategists, analysts, and developers.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the design of engaging, user-centered digital experiences
- Translate research into actionable insights and design rationale
- Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Facilitate workshops and present design concepts to stakeholders
- Continuously explore new tools and design methods
What You Bring:
- 6+ years of experience in UX/UI or experience design
- Strong skills in Figma, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage stakeholders
- Experience with Agile, Lean, and Design Sprint methodologies
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
More about the role:
- Understands product specifications and identifies user touchpoints/ interactions through the various journeys
- Conducts remote and on-site usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and engagement
- Develops wireframes and task flows based on user needs
- Works collaboratively with other designers, product design and development teams, business analysts, engineers and project managers to create intuitive, user-friendly software
- Creates and iterates core UX design deliverables
- Keeps abreast of competitor products and industry trends
