We are recruiting for a Senior UX Design Specialist to join our Journey Experience Team.

You will be joining the Journey Experience team, consisting of 2 Service Design Leads, 4 Senior Service Design Specialists, 3 Senior Researchers and 6 Senior UX Design Specialists. Our core role is to shape and drive exceptional member experiences by designing simple, seamless experiences that deliver meaningful value for the business and our customers.

  • Lead UX design across end-to-end digital journeys, creating intuitive experiences that improve outcomes for members and the business.
  •  Translate strategic goals and product roadmaps into clear UX priorities, concepts and solutions.
  • Use member insight, behavioural data and research to influence product direction, prioritisation and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Research teams to define problems, co-create solutions and iterate based on feedback.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing, turning insights into continuous design improvements.
  • Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistent and scalable user experiences.
  • Champion user-centred design and UX best practice, helping raise design maturity across the organisation.

We work in a hybrid way, balancing flexibility with collaboration. For this role, you'll typically spend three days a week in our Skipton office, with the remaining two days working from home.

What You’ll Need

What’s In It For You

  • Extensive UX design experience with strong skills in interaction design, visual design and responsive/mobile-first experiences.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems through intuitive, user-centred design that delivers measurable outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools.
  • Experience planning and conducting usability testing, using research and data to inform design decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, confident challenging thinking and driving alignment at senior levels.
  • Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • Experience working within agile product teams, collaborating closely with Product, Research and Engineering functions.
