The Role

Position Summary

Our content is one of the first things our customers see when they use our products. We want to create a great first impression, excite our customers, educate them on the possibilities, help them when they run into issues, and enhance our company brand.
We’re now looking for someone to join our growing UX writing team! The ideal candidate is a keen learner who enjoys being a subject matter expert, excels at research, loves being an early product user, passionately advocates on behalf of customers, and develops world-class content that’s perfectly pitched to our audience.
About the Role
Responsibilities include the following:
• Create helpful and concise UX copy for Samsung B2B’s products and services
• Build on scalable strategies to standardize brand voice and terminology, such as style guides and content libraries
• Contribute to strategic product planning sessions, content strategy, and implementation roadmaps
• Mentor junior and intermediate writers, providing feedback during critiques and reviews
• Lead knowledge sharing sessions with cross-functional team members, such as technical writers and marketing writers
• Drive innovation with emerging formats, such as conversational interfaces

Role and Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you need the following:

  • 8+ years' experience as a UX writer, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent
  • Excellent proficiency in English, with an ability to explain highly complex concepts in plain English
  • Deep knowledge of accessibility standards and localization challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple time-sensitive UX initiatives, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience using data sources and unmoderated user testing tools to measure, analyze, and refine UX copy
  • Good understanding of design and UX processes, with experience using design tools such as Figma
  • Understanding of how to succeed on a global team in different time zones

Skills and Qualifications

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $98,700 to $127,700 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.

The total rewards package for a Regular Full-Time employee may include variable incentive, savings matching (RRSP/TFSA/NRSP), extended health and dental benefits with spending accounts, wellness and well-being benefits, development opportunities, and other employee perks.
