As a Senior Unreal Engine Developer at 80.LV, you will lead the development and implementation of game features using Unreal Engine. Your expertise will drive the creation of high-quality game components and innovative gameplay mechanics. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to bring game concepts to life, ensuring both technical excellence and creativity.

Responsibilities

• C++ programming for Unreal Engine
• Design and implement custom Unreal Engine subsystems and editor tools
• Maintain and optimize existing game code and assets
• Architecture planning and modules
• Creation and integration of game logic into the project, implementation of new features and plugins
• Blueprints Visual Scripting
• Contribute to all phases of game development from concept to deployment
• Implement all stages of development from prototype to release

Requirements

• Strong expertise in C++ specifically for Unreal Engine, including extensive use of Blueprints
• Experience: 10+ years in a development role, with at least 5 years specializing in Unreal Engine
• Project Management: Proven experience managing game development projects
• Ability to independently test, debug and optimize developed solutions
• Familiarity with Unity’s Animation System
• Competency in analysis, reporting, and profiling within game development contexts
• Portfolio: Must have a viewable portfolio on GitHub or similar public platforms




Preferred

• Experience developing in a Linux environment
• Experience with asset creation for the Unreal Marketplace, including shaders.
• Knowledge of Python and other programming languages
• Background in multiplayer game development and networking technologies
• Familiarity with 3D graphics fundamentals and experience with 3D editors such as Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya
• Experience with other game engines and technologies is highly valued
