Catalog Games - Senior Unity DeveloperWe’re looking for a Senior Unity Developer to join the Catalog Games - a lean team at King that manages nine games, soon to be ten. As part of a Unity sub-team, you’ll maintain our newly acquired Unity title and explore how we can migrate existing C++/custom engine games into Unity. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineers to understand the current codebase and play a critical role in the architecture of future Unity projects. Together with designers, artists, and producers, you'll drive both technical evolution and great player experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively maintain, expand, and document features in the Unity-based game, ensuring stability and growth.
- Be a role model in coding practices, inspiring your team with an innovative mindset and helping uphold quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and other disciplines (design, art, product, and QA) to deliver high-quality game experiences.
- Break larger goals into tasks, estimate timelines, and implement high-quality solutions.
- Communicate frequently, updating the team on progress, risks, and sharing ideas.
- Uphold quality through architecture/code reviews, testing, and feedback.
- Improve stability by investigating live issues, fixing bugs, profiling, and managing tech debt.

- Extensive software development experience in Unity and C#.
- Strong architectural knowledge with the ability to quickly adapt to new codebases.
- Experience creating and supporting tools in game development, along with mobile development expertise and best practices.
