This position is a hybrid work schedule for 4 days in office 1 day remote in our Irvine, CA office

Responsibilities

· Performs underwriting support associated with information gathering and rating of new business, renewals and mid-term changes.

· Provides policy binder preparation/processing instruction for issuance as instructed by underwriter for new and renewal business.

· Reviews and provides instruction to processing department for endorsement requests as instructed by underwriter.

· Completes Loss Control Inspection ordering instructed by underwriter.

· Identifies renewal solicitation/cross sell opportunities.

· Provides instruction to processing department for new and renewal accounts.

· Fulfills agency requests for, loss runs, copies of policies, copies of invoicing, etc.

· Provides customer service support of general questions regarding renewal status, endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, commission questions, etc.)

· May be required to work overtime as assigned.

· Keeps current with market trends and demands.

· Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications

Required:

· 3+ years of insurance industry experience

· General knowledge of Commercial Workers’ Compensation, Property, General Liability, Auto and Umbrella.

· Analytical skills to identify, gather and organize information

· Must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced atmosphere

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note)


Preferred:

· Insurance industry designations


The expected salary range for this role is $25-33/hr Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
