Join us as a UI/UX Designer
Shape intuitive user experiences for real-time trading platforms
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our trading technology team in Porto and ensure the quality, consistency, and continuous evolution of the user experience across the Euronext web and application ecosystem. You will design user-centered interfaces for high-performance, real-time trading systems, helping professional market participants interact efficiently with complex, data-rich applications.
In this role, you will actively contribute to Euronext’s digital strategy by supporting digital frameworks, processes, and transformation initiatives. Working closely with product, technology, and business teams, you will translate complex trading workflows and business requirements into intuitive, scalable, and engaging user experiences.
Hybrid working model: 4 days per week in the office

Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design & Execution
- Design user-centered interfaces that balance functionality, performance, and aesthetics for trading technology products
- Translate complex trading workflows into intuitive, efficient, and visually coherent user journeys
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual assets using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent
- Ensure designs comply with usability best practices, accessibility standards, and company brand guidelines
Research, Testing & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct user research and gather feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to inform design decisions
- Plan and execute usability testing and prototyping sessions to validate interface effectiveness
- Use product usage data and insights to refine existing designs and improve user satisfaction
- Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, technologies, and trading industry practices
- Represent the company in interactions with external partners related to digital strategy and present digital solutions to clients
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Product Development Managers, Tech Leaders, Developers, and QA teams to ensure consistency across the product lifecycle
- Contribute to the creation of Business Requirement Documents and ensure seamless design integration
- Partner with Client and Project Managers to incorporate user feedback and support client success
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communication teams when needed to ensure visual and functional consistency across products
- Promote accountability, team spirit, and open communication across departments
Quality, Accountability & Professional Standards
- Deliver design work with autonomy, accountability, and efficiency, meeting project deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality of client data, product information, and proprietary design materials
- Contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement through innovative solutions and best practices
- Support the company’s digital transformation strategy by promoting clarity, scalability, and user-centered design principles
- Provide regular updates and report activities to management
Profile & Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, ideally within financial software, fintech, or trading platforms
- Strong experience in customer journey reinvention using innovative techniques such as design thinking and customer-centric design approaches
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in designing complex, data-rich applications
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent)
- Practical knowledge of web technologies is mandatory: HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3
- Solid understanding of trading workflows, financial markets, and user needs (sell-side experience preferred)
- Proven ability to manage projects involving cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience conducting workshops and gathering user feedback
