NorthBay Solutions is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong background in designing modern, intuitive, and engaging user interfaces for web applications. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with a user-centered approach, translating business requirements and user needs into seamless, high-quality digital experiences.
This role requires close collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design consistency and usability across the product lifecycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end UI/UX design process for web applications, from research and ideation to final implementation.
Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, mockups, and user flows that communicate design concepts clearly.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve user experience.
Ensure design systems, style guides, and component libraries are consistent and scalable.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in AI-powered applications.
Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
8–10+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design for web applications.
Strong expertise in Figma (or similar tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD).
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.
Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and user flows.
Strong portfolio showcasing real-world projects and design thinking.
Experience designing interfaces for AI-powered or data-driven applications.
Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Location: Onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE (mandatory).
Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate and commit to long-term client engagements.
