Role Overview:

We are currently working on a number ambitious and exciting projects that will catapult Moneybase internationally and we are utilising the very latest technologies to get there. As we continue to grow sustainably, a new position has arisen for a Senior UIUX Designer reporting directly to the Lead UIUX.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior UI/ UX Designer to join our passionate and talented UX/UI team. Below is some more information about the role. The ideal candidate is a passionate, energetic, and hands-on Visual Designer with knowledge of investments and banking. This dynamic individual will have a fresh and open approach to creativity and is willing to work with and learn from a wider team. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Research, design and refine user experiences within specified product requirements

• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks

• Develop high-level mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas

• Attending sprint meetings and obtaining feedback from the team

• Working with the product owner to refine initial designs based on feedback gathered

• Analyse the usability of existing products and provide suggestions for change

• Be responsible for advocating for users in a fast-paced business environment

• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback

• Collaborate with other designers to evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns

Experience & Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.

• 6+ Years of experience in UI, experience with pixel-perfect UI and web and mobile design

• Have strong experience designing mobile applications for enterprise in Banking & Payments

• Be able to create beautiful UI designs

• Have strong experience designing mobile-first apps

• Proficiency with design tools & technologies (Figma , Photoshop, Sketch, Invision etc.)

• Usability testing experience is considered an asset

• Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies

Skills Requirements

• Working knowledge of responsive design and grid principles.

• An inclination for open-minded, critical thinking to solve challenging interfaces

• Strong typography, layout, and visual design skills.

• Strong team orientation and collaborative nature.

• An inclination for open-minded, critical thinking to solve challenging interfaces

• Ability to clearly express him/herself both in person and in writing

• Fluency in presenting ideas and work
  

Nice to have

• Good knowledge of HCD/UX principles

• Experience using tools such as Lottie, Animation and Detailed Prototyping software

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript

• Have worked in an Agile environment
