Job Summary: brightfin is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to own the end-to-end design experience across our SaaS and enterprise/B2B products, including data-heavy dashboards and reporting tools built on ServiceNow. This role owns and scales our Figma design system, drives proactive UX research even where in-product analytics are limited, and partners closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to validate and ship design decisions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, resourceful with constrained data, and proactive about recommending tools and processes — including AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Claude for Design — that speed up development, improve adoption, and strengthen UX research and feedback.

Essential Functions / Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Own, scale, and maintain our design system in Figma from scratch; update and maintain internal design resources so they serve as reliable defaults for development.
  • Lead end-to-end UI/UX design for complex SaaS, enterprise/B2B, and data-heavy dashboard products built on ServiceNow.
  • Drive UX research proactively and independently, including in environments with limited resources (e.g., no in-product analytics for clicks or time-on-page); conduct user interviews and usability testing and synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Proactively recommend and adopt tools — including AI-assisted tools such as Claude and Claude for Design — that speed up development, increase feature adoption, and improve UX research and feedback collection.
  • Automate compliance reporting (e.g., VPAT, ADA) and help prioritize redesign projects based on findings.
  • Create clear, efficient design artifacts: interactive prototypes, screen mockups and wireframes, and product documentation such as user guides and one-pagers to support research and adoption.
  • Work hands-on with Product Owners and Product Managers, communicating proactively and validating design decisions against real product outcomes.
  • Articulate and defend design rationale directly to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of HTML/CSS constraints and front-end engineering feasibility when designing solutions.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • 5-8+ years of hands-on UI/UX experience with a strong portfolio of shipped, real-world products.
  • Advanced Figma proficiency, including building, scaling, and maintaining design systems from scratch.
  • Proven end-to-end design experience with complex products: SaaS, enterprise/B2B platforms, and data-heavy dashboards.
  • Independent ownership of UX research (user interviews, usability testing, synthesizing insights), including in resource-constrained settings.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate and defend design rationale to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced/fluent English for day-to-day collaboration with US-based teams.
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS constraints and front-end engineering feasibility.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience with ServiceNow (SN), or designing UI/UX for applications built on top of platforms like SN.
  • Experience producing product documentation — user guides and one-pagers to support research and adoption.

Competencies & Technical Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, self-directed approach to research and process improvement, especially with limited data or resources.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple design initiatives at once.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with Sketch or Adobe products.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM Kyiv Time, with a 1-hour break.

What We Offer:

  • Medical insurance — after successful completion of the probationary period.
  • Equipment — we set up everything you need to work comfortably from home.
  • Full FOP administration — we handle all administrative matters related to your business entity.
  • Unlimited paid time off — coordinated with your team; we trust you to manage your time responsibly. Shift changes are subject to Lead/Manager approval, provided they do not negatively impact team continuity.
  • Annual salary review — based on performance review outcomes.
  • Parental leave — we support you through every stage of life.
  • Comfortable remote setup — we care about your day-to-day work experience.
