Senior UI Motion & VFX Artist (Mobile F2P Games)

UserWise is looking for a Senior UI Motion & VFX Artist to help bring a premium mobile F2P game experience to life.

This role will own the motion, feedback, and visual polish that make the game feel exciting, responsive, and rewarding moment-to-moment. You’ll work closely with UI/UX, art, design, product, and engineering to create polished UI animation, reward feedback, transitions, and visual effects that support clarity, player motivation, and mobile performance.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how to make mobile game UI feel premium, satisfying, and alive.

We are prioritizing candidates based in Serbia, Romania, Portugal, Turkey, Brazil, or Poland.

• Create polished UI animations, transitions, and interaction feedback for mobile gameplay, menus, events, offers, and reward flows.
• Design reward and celebration VFX such as coin bursts, glows, sparkles, light sweeps, multipliers, prize reveals, and win moments.
• Bring static UI screens to life with strong timing, pacing, anticipation, impact, and readability.
• Partner with UI/UX Designers to improve hierarchy, clarity, and emotional impact through motion.
• Partner with Game Designers and Product to reinforce key player motivations such as rewards, progression, streaks, bonuses, and achievement.
• Work with Unity Engineers to implement, tune, and optimize UI animation and effects in-game.
• Help create reusable motion patterns and feedback systems that can scale across features.
• Maintain high visual quality while respecting mobile performance, memory, and production constraints.

Great mobile game UI is not just functional; it needs to feel rewarding, responsive, and emotionally satisfying. In this role, you’ll help define the motion and feedback language that makes key moments feel premium, clear, and fun for players.

• Senior-level experience creating high-quality UI motion, animation, and/or VFX for mobile F2P games, typically with 5+ years of relevant game industry experience.
• Strong portfolio showing polished reward feedback, celebration moments, transitions, and animated UI systems.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, easing, anticipation, follow-through, impact, staging, and rhythm.
• Ability to create motion that improves clarity and emotional payoff, not just visual decoration.
• Experience working with game engines, ideally Unity.
• Strong understanding of premium mobile game polish, F2P reward presentation, and player motivation.
• Comfortable collaborating with UI/UX Designers, Artists, Game Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers.
• Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback and production needs.
• Understanding of mobile performance considerations for animation, particles, and UI effects.

• Strong Unity implementation skills, including Animator, Timeline, particle systems, prefabs, UI animation, and optimization.
• Experience with After Effects, Spine, Rive, Lottie, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar tools.
• Experience creating particle effects, shaders, animated materials, or light/glow treatments.
• Experience supporting LiveOps features, events, offers, bundles, reward screens, and monetization flows.
• Experience creating motion style guides, reusable animation libraries, or UI feedback systems.
